Matt was born and raised in Ortega, graduated from Episcopal High School and attended Hofstra University in New York where he majored in Liberal Arts with a focus in Theater. He began his radio career in high school when he was 16 at WJAX (which later became WAPE). He continued to work in Top 40 radio in Chicago, Salt Lake City, New Orleans, and NPR in Los Angeles. While
in L.A., he was acting, doing stand up and appeared on shows like
Beverly Hills 90210, Frasier, and was the winning bachelor both times
he appeared on The Dating Game. He's been back in Jacksonville
since 2000 and if he's not working or doing laundry, he's swimming with
his 3 year old daughter or taking her on fantastic adventures in his
tricked out minivan.
