General Contest Rules for MOVIN 100.7 WMUV Bahamas Spring Break Getaway
General Conditions:
1. WMUV, Money Pages and Craig Air Center expressly disclaims all responsibility for all property loss, property damage, bodily injury and death resulting, directly or indirectly, from any contest prize excluding damages, loss, injury or death caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence of station.
2. WMUV, Money Pages and Craig Air Center expressly disclaims all responsibility and liability for loss, inconvenience and other damage you may suffer resulting from the postponements, modifications of cancellation of any contest or promotions due to technical difficulties or Acts of God.
3. Contest winner shall be responsible for all federal, state and local taxes that may arise by reason of your receipt or use of the contest prize.
4. This offer is VOID if you reside in a jurisdiction that prohibits promotions or contest of this kind.
5. Contest winner federal, state or local government may impose additional conditions on your acceptance of this prize.
6. By accepting your prizes, you affirm that you are neither an employee of WMUV, Money Pages, Craig Air Center nor a member of the immediate family of any employee of WEJZ, Money Pages or Craig Air Center
7. Contest agrees to allow the WMUV and/or Money Pages to use their name, voice and likeness on the air and in any publicity information.
8. Contest winners prize may carry a deadline and or certain restrictions based on age, availability and calendar restrictions.
9. The radio station will hold your prize for a period of 30 days from the date it was awarded. After that period of time, the prize reverts to the station and will be dealt with at the sole discretion of the station management.
10. When prizes are asked to be mailed by the winner, the radio station takes no responsibility for prizes lost in the mail.
11. All participants of on-site giveaways must be present to claim there prize. The station shall not and will not be held responsible for non-attendance of participant at the time of drawing. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to be present.
12. Winners of any regularly scheduled Monday-Friday contest and members of their households are ineligible to win any other weekday contest for a period of 30 days, with the expressed exceptions listed below:
• Winners of consolation prizes are eligible to participate in all contests and are excluded from the 30-day waiting period.
• Winners of special WMUV promotions, scheduled periodically throughout the year, are eligible to play other contest regardless of the amount of time since winning their last prize from the station – excluding major prize winners. These special promotions may not be identified on or off air.
• Winners of major prizes, given away wholly or in part by the radio station, are excluded from winning any prizes on the radio station for a period of one year from the date the major prize was awarded. A major prize is considered to be $1,500.00 or greater value.
13. Individuals using aliases or names other than their own in order to obtain prizes or qualify for contest will be disqualified from winning the said prize and may be permanently banned from playing any contest on stations owned by Renda Broadcasting. Use of another’s name in an effort to secure prizes will be considered an act of fraud and may be subject to prosecution.
Special Contesting for the MOViN 100.7 / Money Pages Spring Break Getaway to the Bahamas Contest:
WMUV and Money Pages are giving away a trip for four to Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas aboard a private plane. Winner will also receive limo service to and from Craig Airfield. You must have a copy of the April 2008 Money Pages to play. Listeners will be prompted to look inside for the MOViN 100.7 Song of the Day Calendar. When the listener hears the specified artist on the specified day between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., the 10th caller will receive a Ladies Night Out VIP Party for Four at Twisted Martini downtown or Ponte Vedra Beach location (Daily Prize could change at the discretion of Renda Broadcasting) and qualify for the grand prize trip for four to the Bahamas.
Grand Prize winner will receive limousine ride(Tip Not Included) for four to Craig Airfield in Jacksonville will they will receive a private chartered plane from Jacksonville to Nassau, Bahamas provided by Craig Air Center. Winner will also receive a Three Day / Two Night Stay at Atlantis on Paradise Island, Bahamas, based on availability. Trip must be taken on May 16 – 18, 2008 ONLY. Trip can not be substituted. Trip can not be exchanged for cash. Grand Prize is not transferable.
Winner will be drawn at random from all the on-air qualifiers. You will have a 1 in 15 chance of winning. Contest will start with a pre-promotion on March 31, 2008 with actual on-air contesting starting April 7, 2008 and continuing to April 25, 2008
WMUV and Money Pages will place a calendar in the Money Pages Magazine that gets delivered to homes starting March 31 – April 2, 2008. The calendar will tell listeners who is the MOViN 100.7 Song of the Day and the Hour which it will be played. Listeners will then tune into 100.7 FM and listen for the select Song of the Day weekdays between the hours of 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. When they hear the Selected Song, they call at 904-725-1007. The 10th caller will win a Ladies Nite Out VIP Party for Four at Twisted Martini (downtown or Ponte Vedra Beach) and qualify for the grand prize Atlantis Vacation. Contest will run one time a day Monday thru Friday.
No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Must have a copy of the April Money Pages to play on-air portion of contest. Must be at least 25 years of age to win. Rules can change at anytime without advance notice. Any dispute will be settled by management at Renda Broadcasting Jacksonville.
